And, if you need to raise capital from angels and VCS, it is indeed more difficult. For years, I have advised entrepreneurs NOT to raise outside capital unless they absolutely must. Raising money takes lots of time and energy (taken from operating the business) and results in dilution of your ownership. Pursue this option only if you must. Good luck with your business!
